My friend Janice loves Hallowe'en, so when she decided to have a Hallowe'en themed birthday in March, none of us were really all that surprised. However, it did mean that we all had to get costumes together, and let me tell you, finding costumes in March is a challenge in itself.
I set out on this journey in hopes of making a replica of the box from the game "Nightmare". It's a VHS game from back in the day that we used to play at sleep overs when we were about 13 and wanted to scare the pants off eachother. We have played it recently and let me be the first to say, it was definitely not as lame when we were 13.
I used some of the game pieces and more fondant for this one and it turned out better than I could have hoped for.
