Homemade Fondant even!!

Another milestone birthday at work, another cake to bake.

This time it was Jim's 40th.

For those of you that don't know Jim, he is our resident sports nut!

Ask him what year any team won anything, and he can tell you. Ask him the score in a particular game from 1982 and he will know it. He could probably tell you who scored the goals too!

So, for his party we all got decked out in our finest sports jerseys and got all of our sports trivia questions ready for him.

I decided to try fondant for the first time with this particular cake, and for some reason, I decided to make the fondant from scratch. After searching for the ingredients at about 8 different stores I was set.

All in all, it wasn't terrible, and I would make the fondant from scratch again.
