The second cake that I made tested my skills a little more.
I decided to make my friend Tara's birthday cake.
The theme? That was easy!
Chocolate and VEGAS!
Tara and I had taken our first trip to Vegas in June 2008 and we had such a fantastic time that we are going back again this October for Tara's 20-20th birthday.
We took the Vegas thing a little far when we got back, so far in fact that her son Zack actually asked her at one point to stop pointing at the TV and saying, "I've been there," everytime there was a commercial about it or a scene in a show. Needless to say, it was the worst when watching CSI (hehe!)
We were so excited to go to Vegas and have our first girls trip that I even made T-shirts that said "T2 'heart' The Vegas". The flight attendants got a kick out of us when we stepped on the plane and we were sporting them.
I like that it's my 20-20th birthday..that sounds better!
