IT'S A GIRL!!

Little pink booties?....Yes!

My friend Jenna was throwing a baby shower for her sister Heather and she needed a cake. She found a couple of pictures of what she wanted it to resemble and asked me if I thought it was something that I could do. I took one look at the pictures and thought, "piece of cake! I can do this!"

Jenna and Jeremy brought me all of the ingredients one day and she even saved the plastic inserts from a pair of baby booties that she had bought for the shower.

I went to the dollar store and was able to find these really cute pink baby blocks that opened at the top to add to the cake.

I covered the booties in pink fondant and painted the design and the laces on them.

This cake is a chocolate layer cake with buttercream frosting inbetween the layers and a tub of chocolate frosting with some pink fondant circles applied to make it look girly :D

I delivered the cake the morning of the shower and Jenna was pleased with how it turned out. Heather loved her cake as well and the ladies all wanted to know where Jenna had it made and could they have the contact information!
