Now that's a good idea!
This was my first cupcake cake.
Evan and Eric were having a combined birthday and instead of presents, they asked that donations be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. It amazes me that two 10 year olds would think of something like this.
So on to the cupcakes!
I decided to make a hockey rink as they are both into hockey in a big way. They have played together on the same team for years. They even have a hockey rink in their backyards (the two yards are fenced as one).
I made the boards or the rink out of construction paper and even included their dad's names as the grocery store sponsor.
The cupcake papers were pink in honour of the dontaions and the pink ribbon at centre ice is also in honour of the donations.
There were little hockey jersey photo holders with their hockey cards on them as well.
So cute x
